Last weekend, Nomadar and Cádiz CF took part in a showcase organized by Fox Soccer Academy in New York, founded by Christian Fuchs and Raluca Gold-Fuchs. Around one hundred players, primarily from Fox Soccer Academy and other clubs, came together to display their level in front of an international coaching staff. The event was also attended by coaches from Germany, England, Cádiz CF and several universities in the United States, many of them in charge of youth academy teams at their respective clubs.
A few months ago, Nomadar and Cádiz CF signed a general agreement with Fox Soccer Academy for the exchange of initiatives and the organization of activities in which both entities share their methodology. This agreement, ahead of the New York showcase, included thematic sessions on Cádiz CF’s methodology and Nomadar’s HPT (High Performance Training) program. As part of this collaboration, our representative, Pablo Sánchez, worked with a small group of players over several preparatory sessions, during which he was able to closely assess their level while conveying the technical and tactical principles that define the Spanish approach to football.
At Nomadar and Cádiz CF, we work under the principles of Spanish football, a model currently going through one of its best moments: this Sunday, July 19, the Spanish national team will play the 2026 World Cup final in New York against Argentina. La Roja’s results reflect this strong moment for Spanish football, and stand as a benchmark for anyone taking their first steps into this world.
The showcase itself took place in New York on July 11 and 12. In the mornings, players were split into rotating groups to train under Sánchez’s guidance, who used each session to convey Nomadar’s methodology. In the afternoons, following a break, matches were played among the participants, with the aim of assessing their competitive level in real match conditions. Every training session and every match served the same purpose: identifying players with potential for Nomadar’s HPT program, which also opens the door to a professional career within the football industry.
Approximately a month earlier, a similar showcase organized by Fox Soccer Academy took place in North Carolina, with the participation of international coaches. Around 150 young players between the ages of 14 and 19 attended the event, alongside representatives from Cádiz CF and Nomadar, who were also present.
Together with the partnership with Fox Soccer Academy, these two initiatives and Nomadar’s presence in the United States reinforce Cádiz CF’s footprint in North America and its ongoing international expansion.
